

Travel Checklist
Traveling can be a stressful task both with or without children.
Follow this simple checklist to assure that you will have peace and relaxation during your vacation.

Necessities
Organic Sunscreen & Bugspray
beware of bits and burns on your getaway
Baby’s/ Family Toiletries
avoid reactions to hotel branded items by packing or shipping your shampoos and soaps
Hand Sanitizer
while traveling; keep hands extra clean to avoid illnesses
Identification
depending on if you are traveling out of the country or not, you will need either a
driver's license or passport for airplane travel and checking into hotel accommodations

Carry-On
Change of Clothing
bring an extra top/shirt and be sure to pack a swimsuit if you are visiting a warm destination (you don't want to be at the pool in a winter sweater if your luggage is delayed or lost)
Medications
if you’re traveling by plane, medications such as fever reliever, Benadryl, cold, teething and any prescription medication should be in your carry-on or diaper bag. (be sure you carry the proper dispenser or dropper for each medicine)
Itinerary
extra copies of the itinerary, travel & hotel information, also make a copy of all traveler's passports
Snacks
lollipops/gum for taking off and landing, also be sure to pack a small emergency food pack including small items such as:
granola bars, crackers & peanut butter, boxed raisins,etc. - these items will be helpful incase of a long layover or delayed flight

Day Clothes
don’t underestimate how many clothes to bring for your little one, you’ll want one to two outfits per day, plus one or two extras
Safety Items
plan ahead, prevent any accidents from happening on your trip – safety plugs or doorknob covers will assure your vacation rental will be baby-proofed and stress free
Extra Diapers & Wipes
don't run out of these necessities, be sure to pack plenty of these or have them shipped to you directly
Crib - Pack & Play
be sure to plan sleep solutions for your child before leaving for your home
weigh your options of bringing verses renting a crib for your vacation - be sure the item you are renting meets the safety requirements
Baby Carrier or Sling
if you’ll be doing a lot of walking and sightseeing during your trip baby carriers are a great solution for keeping your hands free
Dish Soap
if traveling with a child who uses bottles or sippy cups make sure you also pack the dish detergent your comfortable washing them in
High Chair / Booster Seat
if you do not have a travel friendly solution for feeding be sure to inquire about renting a lightweight highchair or portable booster
you can bring on the go to use both in your rental or out at a restaurant
